Another Sunny Day at Pambula Beach

Pambula Beach NSW
From the surfing in the 1960s series by Garry Birdsall

Here is sunny Pambula Beach as it was in the 1960s, one of the most popular holiday destinations on the south NSW coast. Locals and visitors relax on this idyllic beach while the more active head out for a surf, paddle or a swim. Busting its way out through the shore break is the Pambula surf boat, about to put in some power rowing as part of their training program.

Now a much larger structure, the very charming original surf club is depicted here. The site where you can see the cars parked is now an adventure packed Tourist Park, that developed over the decades to cater to the thousands of visitors that enjoy Pambula Beach every year.
